What customers say?

“ [Best Value for Money] November 8, 2024 After reading reviews saying this place was popular, I made a reservation just in case and arrived at 7 p.m. There were already about three groups of customers there. The interior isn't fancy, but it's a homey, relaxing environment. Personally, I really love the warm atmosphere. Some people might find the service poor—there's no place to put your bag, no wet towels, or even when I ordered a Coke, they didn't have a glass and I had to drink it straight from the plastic bottle. But I think that's because they're so focused on value for money, and I'm fine with it. If you want, you can bring your own wet wipes or tissues. Cash payment without a receipt is fine, too. If you can enjoy a meal of this quality for this price, it's amazing! What I Ate First, the sauce. Until now, Genghis Khan has often been sweet, perhaps to mask the odor or tone down the meat's flavor. The sauce here is a refreshing, non-sweet, spicy soy sauce. I guess it's because they're confident in the quality of their meat. It's a perfect match, as you can really taste the meat. It's delicious. I personally love the onions that are included as a default condiment in the sauce. Delicious! ・Liver...you can really feel the freshness. ・Genghis Khan...in terms of overall flavor, it's inferior to lamb, but it has a flavor that lamb doesn't have, so alternating it with lamb is the best ( ̄~; ̄) ・Lamb...the quality is good. It's tender and flavorful, a must-order dish. ・Tongue...sprinkled with chili peppers, it's spicy, but also delicious. ・Kalbi...just good meat. ・Loin...sandwiching lean meat between fatty meats is great, isn't it? ・Vegetables...cucumber, edamame, cabbage. It's refreshing, so perfect for a break. I especially liked the cucumber, edamame, and cabbage. The amount of mayonnaise served with the cabbage is amazing lol. Love it. ・Kuppa... Surprisingly, it's not spicy at all. The white soup is rich with a delicious beef or animal-based broth, and it comes with a generous amount of rice. You can also get some vegetables. And for this price... I have no complaints (lol). ・Coke... Pepsi. Coke is good, but Pepsi goes well with meat, too~ Three guys, we didn't drink much, but we enjoyed the meat, and the bill came to ¥10,850. When you're craving some yakiniku, you can have Genghis Khan, lamb, and shinko, and finish it off with a soup... It's just too good, right? (lol) I'll definitely come back. Thank you for the meal m(_ _)m ”

“ A smoky, Showa-era restaurant This is a place where you can truly experience the atmosphere of a traditional, popular yakiniku restaurant. This time, I ordered two large bottles of beer and enjoyed cheek, beef ribs, lamb, top-grade tripe, and Genghis Khan. They paired perfectly with the special Genghis Khan sauce. The more I chewed the cheek, the more flavorful it became, and the beef ribs had an exquisite sweetness from the fat. The top-grade tripe had a delightfully crunchy texture, and each flavor was perfect for pairing with beer. The interior was filled with billowing smoke, creating an atmosphere that made me feel like I'd traveled back in time to a Showa-era yakiniku restaurant. This is a laid-back, lively restaurant where you can enjoy meat at reasonable prices. Thank you for the meal! ”

“ This yakiniku restaurant is right next to the station closest to my office. I can easily go there by myself. It's cheap, delicious, and I love it. ”

“ A seedy Genghis Khan restaurant in front of Isehara Station. We stopped in for a bite to eat on our way down from the Oyama Maniac Route. They have a nude calendar by Kishin Shinoyama and background music of Showa-era pop songs. I recommend the pork innards. It was the sweetest I've ever eaten. The Genghis Khan (mutton) had no odor at all and was delicious, comparable in taste to lamb. I was surprised by the size of the large mug of draft beer, and the price of 600 yen! They also have souvenirs available, and the dipping sauce is served separately, so you can still enjoy the aftertaste even after you get home. We lined up before opening and were able to enter at 5pm, but before we knew it, it was full. Reservations are required. ”

“ I visited on a weekday evening. The narrow entrance requires courage to enter, but once inside, a friendly staff member will guide you to a vacant seat. The interior of the restaurant has a sense of time passing by, with menus and faded posters on the walls. Grilling meat on a small hot plate gives you an extraordinary feeling, so I recommend it for those who want that kind of experience. I ordered Genghis Khan, kalbi, and tongue, and everything was delicious and excellent. They offer sauce when you enter the restaurant, which has a unique appearance and comes with green onions by default. It was incredibly delicious. The Coke comes in a strange plastic bottle, which is interesting. ”
